This was my first game completed using 100% open source tools. I like the idea of not only being able deploy anywhere (since these are web technologies), but also building using tools that are freely available, modifiable and can work on almost any computer. Plus the web is forever. Websites from the mid 1990's are still functional on any platform today and I think it's cool that any game I build with this stack will be playable many years in the future.
